THE CHALLENGE

A leading US industrial bakery required a fully integrated, high-capacity system to handle continuous dough product flow within a complex multi-vendor line. The client needed a turnkey cradle conveyor solution managing product transfer and controlled leavening — bridging upstream makeup equipment and the tunnel oven — with zero manual handling, full recipe management, and seamless integration with Siemens-based line controls.

OUR SOLUTION

HTS Industry engineered and delivered a complete Cradle Conveyor & Leavening Cell system in four integrated project phases — from layout definition and mechanical design through software development with virtual commissioning, full manufacturing, and on-site functional testing.

The system comprises a precision cradle conveyor network feeding a climate-controlled leavening cell, with independent product pitch management, recipe-driven proofing parameters, and full AISI 304 stainless construction throughout product-contact zones.

All electrical and control architecture is built on the Siemens platform, ensuring native compatibility with the client’s existing line infrastructure and MES/SCADA roadmap.
